Howzit. I am the guy in the last three clips. glad you like them enough to post on you site. I love the rig and i have been in some pretty strong winds here in Hawaii. But the rig holds up good. In those videos i have a set of Hobie sidekick amas mounted behind me. In some of the stronger winds i feel tippy so i just moved my amas to the front. Hopig to get out in the next couple days to test. Wish i got video of my biggest catch. It was a 61lb barracuda caught went sailing.
Aloha.
Aloha Donald,
Thanks, glad you enjoy sailing the rig. Please post more videos. We love em!
We are interested in learning how your bow mounted sidekick amas worked out.
Cheers.
my God ! that is a very nice “horngädda” ! (have no idea what you call them in english ) Bigger than any I´ve seen here on the Swedish westcoast. Maybe it´s a variety of sorts? Use to fish them from ashore when they come in in great numbers to play in shallow water in bays with lots of seaweed in late spring. After seing this I´ll have to try it from the kajak this year..
